The "high pitched mechanical singing" is actually a soprano clarinet with a lot of chorus and reverb on it. I'm a bad singer, so normally I have to simplify the vocal part just so I can do it. This time I liked the melody too much to do it. I agree that I didn't pull it off.<br /><br />Sorry to disappoint you but the string quartet, keyboard and drums were all programmed, not performed. As far as I know, this isn't against the SpinTunes rules. I personally don't feel its unfair, as everyone else can do it too.
