SpinTunes #11 Round 2 Songs

Well I think everyone who made it to the listening party will agree that YouTube worked 100x better than U-Stream.  No ads, ran smoothly and a built in chat.  Not sure if Tom in planning on YouTube for round 4, but it's good to know it's an option that works well.

The songs are now available for FREE download. Until the round 3 songs are posted I will only allow people to download the round 2 album as a whole. But even after that, PLEASE download the entire album vs downloading just a handful of songs while the contest is on going. BandCamp limits how many free downloads I can give away, and 1 album download counts the same as 1 song download.

We had 16 total entries turned in before the deadline & we had 1 shadow turned in.  The judges will not be eliminating anyone this round (unless there is a DQ), but they will be reviewing & scoring you as usual. Good luck to you all, and well done!

(Album cover by Matt Schubbe)

- Judges & guest judges need to turn in their reviews & rankings by February 13th before noon (Sat).

- Reviews & scores will be posted February 13th before 11PM (Sat).

- February 14th 1AM (Sun) the third challenge will be announced.

Aside from all the great songs you guys wrote for the album, we also had another kick ass cover of "Today's The Day" by Inverse T. Clown.

Videos: If anyone wants to make a VIDEO for their song, I will include it here:

  1. Emperor Gum: some thoughts on my round 1 and 2 songs. :)

  2. If I lived anywhere near Lansing I would totally audition for the role of Troubadour (aka "fake Jonathan Coulton") in Eric's show. :-)

    1. And I'd be happy to have you! (Or JoCo. I can totally see myself giving the role to JoCo, too. But he's prob'ly not coming to Lansing EITHER...)
